Abstract Background

Hello...

I'm Paul Edworthy and although I started being a Celebrant in 2024, I have over 25 years experience in this area. Crafting thoughtful, creative and meaningful moments which reflect someone or something deeply important is what I consider a great honour to be part of.

Abstract Background

My Story...

I live in sunny East Sussex...a place my family and I love. Being by the sea along with the beautiful South Downs is a perfect mix for us. For me personally, I try to make as many memorable moments with my family and friends as possible. We love traveling abroad and experiencing other cultures, along with just relaxing and spending time together listening to music...all the big and small things that make life matter.

People matter to me which is my reason for wanting to find a way to make a difference where I live and beyond. This is why helping people in the transition of loss and creating meaningful moments is important. To celebrate a life lived and recognise the impact they had on the world around them is an honour to be part of and to walk this through with people is a privilege. â€‹

I've been involved in Pastoral Care for over 25 years with people of all ages and backgrounds. My qualifications and experience as a Life Coach compliment this. Working as a Pastor in local churches also enables me to bring elements of Christianity into services in an authentic way where needed, though not essential. Creating the perfect service that reflects the person who's life is being celebrated is the most important part of my work, and my creative edge brings the ability to be as traditional or unconventional as needed.

Choosing to be a celebrant brings together all the things that are important to me, along with all the skills I've developed and the training I've had. â€‹Family matters to me. People matter to me. And life matters to me because it's precious...and all three are something to celebrate.
